Gilbert G. Dickson, late Deputy Sheriff of Richland County, died at Abilene, Kansas, on the 1st. inst.  On the day of his death he wrote several letters, ate a hearty supper at half-past six, took a congestive chill at seven and died at 8 o'clock.  He was a student at Vermillion Institute three years ago, and was well known to the young people in this town.
